Fall/Winter: Library Renovations & Temporary Relocation to City Hall
"These improvements represent a significant investment in our community and the usability of our library. While we apologize for the inconvenience during construction, these renovations will create spaces that better serve you while protecting our building and collections."
- Miriam Andrus, Library Director

During the renovation, we will have a temporary branch at City Hall.

Construction will begin on September 15, and our doors are expected to reopen in November 2025. We’re sad to temporarily close the main library, but we’re excited to make needed improvements and provide services at City Hall!
How long will the Library be relocated?

Services available at City Hall:
-
Material checkout and returns, hold pickup, reference assistance, browsing small collections, and limited printing and computer services.
-
Please return materials inside City Hall or at the outside book drop located at the main entrance.
-
Programming will continue at the library and off-site locations. View the library’s program calendar at: gadml.librarycalendar.com

Where can I tutor or study?
-
Northwood University’s Strosacker Library is a great, free option! WiFi is available, but computer access is for Northwood students only.
Here's what we'll be hard at work on!
