The Grace A. Dow Memorial Library is a service of the City of Midland

Our Mission: to inspire lifelong learning by connecting people and resources

How do I?

Apply for a library Job - Because we are a department of the City of Midland, you will need to visit the City of Midland Human Resources page to see the current job openings.

Borrow eBooks and other digital items - The library has several digital services.
You can find step by step instructions for using the services.

Get a Library Card  - A library card is available free of charge to all individuals who show proof of residency within our service area.

Donate - Drop off your books at the library or donate money.

Manage my account - You can see when your items are due, renew, and manage your holds. You also can request that the library purchase an item and sign up to automatically reserve new items by your favorite authors.

Rent a room at the Library - The library has rooms available for rent: three conference rooms (20 person capacity), the Lounge (49 person capacity) with kitchen facilities, and the Auditorium (266 person capacity).

Search for books and other library items -  Use the catalog in the library or at home.

Talk to Someone - Call, email, text, or visit us.
